Renewal of the Covenant of Love – Covenant Mass

Schoenstatt MTA

The Schoenstatt Movement in Cape Town invites you to a Covenant Mass. To celebrate the Covenant of Love in Cape Town we join with the International Schoenstatt Movement which was founded on the 18th October 1914. Celebrations are held around the world at the various Schoenstatt Centers. In Cape Town, we celebrate Holy Mass at two of our Shrine, Constantia and Villa Maria.

The Covenant Mass in Constantia in April will be organised by the Schoenstatt Family League.

Mass will be celebrated in the Sisters House Chapel followed by a procession to the Shrine. Gathered in and around the Shrine of Our Blessed Mother those present are invited to renew their covenant of love. Those who cannot physically attend the celebration are invited to join us spiritually in renewing their commitment to the covenant.

Equally, important is the Covenant Mass which will be celebrated by one of the parish priests in the Shrine at Villa Maria. At the end of Holy Mass, one of the Sisters will give a short input on Schoenstatt after which the congregation are invited to renew their covenant of love.

To end the evening tea and eats will be shared at both Shrines.
