“Uncoded Royalty” - Schoenstatt Girls Winter Camp 2026
This year’s Schoenstatt Girls Winter Camp was a remarkable success, so much so that we had to host two camps for the first time. The first camp filled up rapidly with 40 girls, and a second, shorter camp welcomed a further 20 participants, bringing the total number of girls to 60.
Discovering Our Royal Identity
The theme, “Uncoded Royalty,” invited the girls to reflect on their identity as beloved daughters of God. In a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence and technology, the camp sought to remind participants that their worth and dignity cannot be measured by algorithms, achievements, popularity, or digital influence.
Responding to Pope Leo XIV’s call to uphold the dignity of the human person in today’s technological age, the camp encouraged the girls to look deeply at themselves and discover the unique gifts, talents, and mission that God has entrusted to each one. Through discussion and reflection, they explored what it means to be truly “royal” because of their relationship with God.
Learning About Ourselves and Schoenstatt
Throughout the camp, the girls participated in a variety of formation sessions designed to help them grow in self-knowledge and faith. Topics included:
- Understanding the different temperaments
- Learning about the Covenant of Love
- Discovering more about Schoenstatt spirituality and its mission
- Reflecting on their personal strengths, gifts, and God-given dignity
These sessions provided valuable opportunities for discussion, personal reflection, and growth.
Creative Shrine Building
One of the highlights of the camp was the opportunity to build and decorate creative shrines. Through this hands-on activity, the girls explored their relationship with Our Lady and gained a deeper appreciation for the significance of the Schoenstatt Shrine as a place of grace, encounter, and mission.
A Rich Spiritual Experience
The spiritual programme formed the heart of both camps.
Each camp was blessed with the celebration of Holy Mass, allowing the girls to gather around the Eucharist and deepen their relationship with Christ. The adoration evenings were particularly meaningful, offering time for silence, prayer, and personal encounters with Jesus.
These moments of faith and reflection helped create an atmosphere where the girls could experience God’s love and grow closer to Him and Our Lady.
Friendship, Fun and Lasting Memories
Alongside the formation programme, there was plenty of time for games, activities, laughter, and friendship. The girls enjoyed building new relationships, strengthening existing friendships, and creating memories that will remain with them long after the camp ended.
Looking Ahead
The overwhelming response to this year’s camps reflects the growing desire among young women to deepen their faith and embrace their identity as God’s royal daughters. We are deeply grateful to all who supported the camps through their time, service, donations, and sponsorships. Their generosity made it possible for every girl to participate and helped make the “Uncoded Royalty” Winter Camps a beautiful experience of faith, friendship, and personal growth.
