Little miracles at our shrines

Earlier this year the family branch did a Holy Year of Mercy Pilgrimage to our three Shrines in Cape Town.

At Maryland a lady testified that through the prayers of our George pilgrims she happened to stumble across at Maryland, her call for prayer was heard. Her daughter-in-law at the time was only given a few months to live but through the prayers at our Shrines she was healed.7

Our Shrines and its beautiful surroundings and grounds gives us a home where we feel we belong and feel loved. The adoration time that is spent by both the sisters and anyone who pops in is ever present and many miracles are born.

The Marriage Camino that takes place twice a year, February and October also touches lives and gives couples and families hope.

One couple was touched because not much emphasis was placed on a specific religion and that was very welcoming to them. They said that Schoenstatt’s surroundings was a place of peace and healing.

matchheartAt the 3rd station another man asked Marcel to please give him some matches to put a spark to his marriage. Throughout the day we ask for volunteers to lead and introduce the station and he volunteered at the last station, ”Give thanks” and it was all about the fire in your marriage. Light fills both hearts – how ironic. Little miracles happen all around us and in us when we allow our Mother and her Son to take control through the Shrine, the MTA, our Covenant of love and Father Kentenich’s teachings.

We are spiritually refueled in many ways stemming from our Shrines.
